Most house washes you see going wrong are a high-pressure water blaster being pointed at things it shouldn't be. We don't do that. Soft-wash is a low-pressure method that uses the right detergent for the surface — it lifts the mould, the salt, the green stuff, and rinses cleanly. Paint stays on. Render doesn't pit. Pointing doesn't get hammered out.
How a house wash runs
- We turn up the morning we said we would.
- Walk the house with you — windows shut, plants flagged, anything fragile noted.
- Apply the soft-wash detergent at low pressure, top down.
- Dwell time so the chemistry can work.
- Rinse cleanly, top down again.
- Tidy the site — coil the hoses, pack the truck, leave the path swept.
What surfaces this works on
- Weatherboard (paint or stain)
- Brick + concrete block
- Render + textured plaster
- Painted ply + cedar cladding
- Coloursteel cladding panels
"Highly recommend Jimmy and his crew. Extremely happy with the clean that was completed on my roof, house, driveway and paths. Everything looks brand new again!" — Nicole W., Hamilton East
What it costs
Depends on the house size, the storey count, and how filthy it's gotten. Small single-storey weatherboards usually start around the $300 mark. Two-storey larger homes scale up from there. Send a photo and your postcode and we'll quote same-day.
